After living year-round in Niseko for the last 17 years I now often have already worked out what shot I want to get before I leave my studio for landscape shots.
Knowing the weather patterns and what to anticipate allows me to get myself in the right place at the right time with a good chance to capture what I envision.
At the height of summer in July sunrise is very early around 3:20. These shots were taken in the Hirafu region looking towards Mt.Yotei over a sea of clouds with some beautiful textures.
